This is the official statement about me :) 

Ruben Daniels is Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Javeline that was founded in 2005. Daniels is the driving force behind Javeline’s vision, products, and services. With over 12 years of experience in systems and software development combined with the familiarity of functioning in teams, Ruben holds the fitting personal profile for managing all operating functions at Javeline. His authority ranges from product development to setting the Strategy of the company and dealing with Human Resources. As an engineer Ruben created a sophisticated software development kit for building online applications. With Javeline Framework developers can deliver applications to modern browsers on all platforms that focuses on short development cycles and extensive functionality for the end user.

Prior to originating his own company Ruben gained wide experience within the IT-Branch working multiple years with companies as ABN-AMRO, HP, Canon and Sony where he cultivated excellent skills at software engineering and company management. In this period Ruben created an innovative Open Source Ajax Library that was quickly picked up by writers at O’Reilly and Apple (2001), and was perceived as a unique way to retrieve data in a website. Based on this technology he constructed one of the first Ajax based community website. Soon after, Ruben started working as a freelance web engineer building sites for KLM, FNV,Centre Parks and the Dutch Armed Forces using this high end technology. Later this advanced and in depth knowledge would be used to create Javeline with the aim to improve the functionality and performance constructing web applications. Meanwhile Ruben started Technical Physiscs at the University of Delft, where he met future co founder of Javeline Rik Arends.
