Hi Jerome,

There's not much news on this. We still have a partly implemented XSLTProcessor. We never use it for projects anymore though, because we've moved away from XSLT altogether in favor of a new language we call Live Markup (formerly JSLT).

See:
http://www.rubendaniels.com/2009/10/22/live-markup-a-preview-of-a-hot-new-technology/

We are planning to reimplement the xpath processor to make it complete and faster. We are still using it for webkit based browsers because there seems to be a bug in webkit's xpath processor. I'm available on twitter/e-mail if you want to investigate this further.

Searching for more information on cross browser support for the XSLTProcessor() object. Have things improved since 2008 (the last set of posts to this thread)?

If anyone is still monitoring this, can you offer some hints? Am interested in writing my own implementation, or at least studying the state of the art, if external libraries are still required.

Hi Caro,

I see the demo on ajax.org is broken. However the code displayed should work fine.

Good luck!

Hi Martijn,

Yes of course. There is a demo on this online here:
<a href="http://www.ajax.org/#demos/elements.s.submission" rel="nofollow">http://www.ajax.org/#demos/elements.s.submission</a>

It uses a list bound to the data, but I'm sure you can see that it works the same with form elements bound to the xml.

Kind Regards,
Ruben

I'm trying to send a form in JPF. I use a set of form elements checkbox, textbox, etc. I would like to send all these elements with Teleport to a php-script to put the values in a database. I get it to work if I declare the variables within the tags. This seems not very efficient to me.

Is it possible (like plain HTML), to submit all the form elements in one, without declaring them again within the Teleport-tags?

I.e.:
